Home Start – Calderdale.
Home Start offers a unique service for families who are experiencing difficulties while bringing up young children.
The safety and well being of children is at the heart of all that they do at Home-Start and they recognise that often the best way to help children is to support their parents, helping them give their children the best possible start in life.

Ilkley Candlelighters – Ilkley, Bradford.
The Ilkley Candlelighters was formed by a group of friends to raise funds for Candlelighters and buy equipment for the Children’s Cancer Unit, then at the St James’s Hospital in Leeds and now at Leeds General Infirmary. Ilkley Candlelighters is entirely run by volunteers, meaning every penny raised goes directly to fighting children’s cancer in Yorkshire.

The Leeds Community Foundation – Leeds.
Leeds Community Foundation connects people who want to make a real difference to our city.
We have a lot to be proud about in Leeds: a vibrant historic city, full of opportunity, thriving industry, good schools and universities, and beautiful parks. However, not everyone has access to these opportunities.
Thousands of charities and voluntary groups across the city work tirelessly to address these inequalities, and help their communities.
Leeds Community Foundation invests in these groups to support Leeds now and in the future.
We do this by distributing grants, convening debates, sharing advice: we are a catalyst for positive change in Leeds.
Leeds Community Foundation relies on the generosity of businesses and individuals who care about their city; who want to ‘give something back’.
